Time of change

The economy has gone passed sour, the 700 billion package failed to pass, the world economies are all entering recession, trust in democracy is declining, and we are well into peakoil.

The future is going to be crap. A thousand more banks will fail, the Soviet Union will be back in force, and no one is really making an effort to develop new energy sources. Though, the good news is, that congress will now pass a new plan that will make the old one look like a good idea.

Don't worry though, this tv season is going to kick ass, so sit back, enjoy, and have a great last year of true freedom.

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. -- Martin Luther King Jr.

This is how much $700,000,000,000 translates to when you divide by the 300,000,000 people living in the United States. Remember those stimulus checks that the government just gave you, when this bill passes they will rape you and your posterity for 4 - 8 times that amount. They gave you that money as a debt against your children, now they are going to take far more.

You don't care though, you obviously hate your children, your grandchildren, and your great grandchildren. You have doomed them to a life of mysery and destitution. You might as well take your kids out back and beat them with a baseball bat. It would be a far more humane fate.

Make money your god and it will plague you like the devil. -- Henry Fielding

The shit might be hitting the fan, but you need to relax

A lot of talk is going on regarding the collapse of the financial giants. Pay no attention to these talks as most people are not smart enough to pour piss out of their boots, let alone purport to know the outcome of this volatile situation.

These organizations collapsed due to greed and arrogance and a lot of people will suffer handsomely for the egos of men like Paulson, Kerry Killinger, Ken Thompson, and hordes of others. Your children who will never get to live in the America that you and I loved. Instead they will live in at best, a broken nation of debtors, and at worst, a nightmarish dystopian police state where just getting food will be an all day chore.

Even though things look dark, I want you to just sit back, relax, and watch some great movies and tv shows. A few of my personal favorites right now are; Escape from L.A. and New York, Dark Angel, Soylent Green, Death Race 2000, and last but not least MAD MAX (orginal and Beyond Thunderdome) You let me and others like me worry about preparing for the future. You have too much on your shoulders as it is.

Happy viewing.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. -- Friedrich Nietzsche
